Bakti Mulia Orphanage

Picture
The Bakti Mulia Orphanage has the biggest need of the the four orphanages when it comes to building needs.  Currently, only the bottom floor of the picture above is completed.  They are living in extremely inadequate living facilities and need $20,000 to complete this project.  When complete, it will provide sleeping and bathing quarters for the girls; who are currently sleeping in the equivelant of a lien too...getting soaked whenever it rains.  It is hot and humid and a breeding ground for mosquitos.  The top floor would provide space for homework, recreation, laundry and community space.  Please consider helping with this project...it would be much appreciated by the 59 orphans and the staff that care for them.

Wale Ne Oki Orphanage

We just finished the Roof Project for this orphanage and they are sooooo thankful for their new space.  The now have a place to play inside when it rains and a general gathering area.

Another immediate need for the Wale Ne Oki Orphanage is to buy a car.  As you can imagine...with a faciltiy full of children under age 5, they get sick.  Currently, they have no way of transporting the children to the doctor or hospital, especially if they wake up in the night with a fever.  It is very difficult to make arrangements to get them to medical attention and a car would be such an answer to prayer.  The cost of a low-end, but decent car is $6000.  Please note the Wale Ne Oki Orphanage "Car" when making a donation.

Nazareth Orphanage

Picture
Roof needs to be replaced!!!  YEAH...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!  The Nazareth Orphanage is adjacent to the Wale Ne Oki Orphanage...so to make it clear... it is the same roof project.  The Nazareth Orphanage houses the kids age 5 to 18.  They also are very thankful to have this facility to now use for recreation and gathering.

Heal the Nations will be taking our first team to Indonesia in December and plan to make good use of this facility.  Our intent is to have VBS outreaches there and invite all four orphanages and the children from the neighboring villages.  We can't wait to go.

Bartemeus Orphanage

Picture
The Bartomeus Orphanage for the Blind has been without water for about six months out of each year during the dry season.  You can imagine that having to truck water in is a bit trickier when everyone is blind.

Well, they won't have to do that any longer, thanks to local Albany believers.  We just sent the funds over to drill a new well a few weeks ago.  Look for pictures as the project is completed.  This is going to be such a huge blessing for those living at Bartomeus Orphanage.
